It's silly, I realize, that when good directors that I like do videos for bands that I don't particularly like, that I get a little huffy. But here I am all huffy. It's not even that I don't like m5 here, I mean levens (adam levine) is a certified bad ass that all the rappers are afraid of, that's a certified fact. But just the fact that Wareheim would force me to post it cause it has the couple from the flying lotus video in it is downright aggravating. PS to all the people that think he's a one trick pony... screw youse.

Masks are a tricky thing... yes, they add an element of theatricality and mystery to the average DJ set, however it is a thin line to walk. It's kind of been done, I mean as a DJ duo, you are stepping into the shadow of some dudes with some pretty fancy masks, with lights and stuff on them, tricky. What do you have? Something dangerously close to Mexican wrestling masks or clone Spiderman, yeeks. When rappers do it, it can work, DOOM of course, Ghostface on 36 chambers. This... I just don't know.
